The concept of Apollo Energy became more than a concept and the company was born in 2012(trading in South Africa as IYA Logistics, the idea was motivated by the Zimbabwean energy and economic crises. The subsequent need for affordable and sustainable alternative forms of energy and world class security systems has catalyzed the formation of Apollo Energy, officially registered in June 2012 as a Private Business Corporation (PBC).
