“Vadzimba Investments” t/a ‘Stray Dogs’ is a furniture manufacturer, headquartered in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. It was founded in 2014 with a team of experienced personnel.

The Shareholders and Directors in the company are Mark Swannack and Elton Lightfoot.

All the partners have been in the furniture manufacturing industry for in excess of 25 years and have been involved in the supply of furniture to many of the leading hotels, lodges and camps in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

As most of the larger manufacturers have closed down, this presented a unique opportunity to re-establish existing product lines and open new ones, with an already established client base.

Today, ‘Stray Dogs Furniture’ is a name that signifies ‘New, Old, Innovative, Fun, Modern and Quirky designs of furniture. Our product range is extensive and includes custom made Teak, wrought iron and basket weave furniture aimed primarily at the SADC tourism sector.

We have manufactured custom made furniture for hotels and resorts in Victoria Falls, being, Elephant Hills Hotel, The Kingdom Hotel, Victoria Falls Hotel.

We’ve provided furniture for: the Carribea Bay Hotel in Kariba,

the Holiday Inn’s in Bulawayo, Harare and Beit Bridge;

The Chinhoyi Caves Motel and the Impala Lodge, these being holiday destinations within the National Parks of Zimbabwe.

Nyamumba Hotel on the Zambezi River and Chundu Island in Victoria Falls have also bought from us.

We have accessed Camps, Hotels and Lodges in the SADC region which includes well known lodges in Botswana being: the Elephant Valley Lodge, the Makoro Hotel and the Chobe Safari Lodge.

We have completed the Amalinda Collection which comprises of: Ivory Lodge in Hwange, Camp Amalinda in Matopos and

Khula Lodge in Hwange.

The Bulawayo Club, Fruit & Veg City and Cresta Churchill in Bulawayo are also amongst our clients who we have recently serviced.
